ICP Community Day x Education Open House

Visit ICP during Community Day to explore ICP’s school and museum for free!

ICP’s Community Day x Education Open House welcomes visitors to our museum and school for an interactive day that includes hands-on demos, portfolio reviews, opportunities to connect with faculty, and information tables to learn more about taking courses and workshops through ICP Open Education program.

The day also includes free admission and guided tours to see our new exhibitions, HARD COPY NEW YORK, Latitudes: Nuits Balnéaires and François-Xavier Gbré, and Eugene Atget: The Making of a Reputation. Join a tour with museum educator Carlos Nunez, who will be leading tours of all three shows at 1 PM in English and 3 PM in Spanish. 

Photobooks live here at ICP – visit the ICP library from 11 AM – 12 PM for our monthly Photobook Club then stick around for the book launch of Ahndraya Parlato’s TIME TO KILL (MACK, $60).

Whether you’re just beginning your journey in photography or looking to deepen your practice, Community Day is the perfect opportunity to explore your educational pathway at ICP, discover new possibilities, and connect with a community that values both skill-building and meaningful dialogue.

Book Launch & Signing—TIME TO KILL

Galleries + Shop Ahndraya Parlato’s TIME TO KILL (MACK, $60) is an evocative interrogation of gendered aging, unpacking the ideals of beauty, caretaking, and maternal and domestic duty imposed on women over the course of their lives. Join us for a talk between Parlato and writer, Kate Zambreno followed by a special book signing in ICP’s shop.
